Hoi An is located in the lower of Thu Bon river in Quang Nam, 30km from Danang.  There is no noise of vehicles or colorful billboards, Hoi An is significant with the beauty of solemn and ancient houses and stunning Cua Dai beach which will bring visitors much interesting experiences.

How to travel to Hoi An?

Hoi An is not far from Danang, so almost visitors to Hoi An after visiting Danang. Visitors can travel by car, train or fly to Danang, then take taxi, bus #01 (from Danang) or rent a motorbike to Hoi An. If you travel from Hue, you can take bus with the route Hue – Hoi An.

Rent a bike and experience the public tourism at Tra Que herb village, Kim Bong carpentry village, Thanh Ha pottery village to discover the local activities. In the evening, you can walk along Hoai river to enjoy the colorful lanterns.

Cua Dai Beach

Cua Dai beach which is the meeting place of three rivers including Thu Bon, Truong Giang and De Vong before flowing to East sea, is very beautiful for its emerald water and long sandy beach.

An Bang beach

An Bang is a new beach so it is quite pristine and peaceful which is suitable for tranquil sea and fishing activities.

Cu Lao Cham

Cu Lao Cham is the destination for adventurers which is located 15km from Cua Dai beach. We can travel to this island by hydrofoils (ticket fee: VND 120,000) in 20 minutes; or boats for local shoppers in an hour (VND 30,000/person and VND 15,000/motorbike) leaving at 8am at Cua Dai port. On the island, there are homestay and hostel services for your stay. The landscape here is untouched and romantic with some beautiful beaches including Bai Bac, Bai Ong, Bai Xep…

What to eat?

Let’s visit Thai Phien street or Hoi An market to enjoy Cao Lau and Quang noodle which are quite cheap and delicious. Besides, there is another delicious chicken rice dish such as, Ba Buoi, Ba Nga at Phan Chau Trinh (VND 40,000 to VND 70,000 depending the type of dish). Do not miss to enjoy food at street stalls under the bridge of Cam Hoi including, dumpling, banh dap (rice cracker), vac cake, roasted pork on Tran Hung Dao street. There are many good street restaurants which serve these foods with reasonable prices.

What to buy?

Colorful lantern is a beautiful gift of Hoi An. You should visit big shops which both make and sell lanterns to choose your favorite color.

Tailor and handmade shoes and dresses are also special gift for you or your friends. Green bean cakes and chili sauce are also good choices.
